Our guides come from a variety of different backgrounds. Whilst most have worked overseas or interstate, are all now long term locals. Common attributes include excellent conversation skills and a sense of humour.

All guides have public passenger vehicle licences, tourism accreditation and public liability insurance.

Acting as an assistant guide for Explore Tasmania Tours, Alan brings his varied life experiences when called upon in the busy times of the year. With dedication to local produce and culture – the only real question to ask him is whether his passion for Tassie Pinot Grigio or Single Malt is greater.
